Native Doctor Nabbed For Allegedly Selling Newborn Baby


The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking In Persons (NAPTIP) said it captured a 38 year old cultivator, Chigozie John Emmanuel, A.K.A 'Akuchi', for purportedly offering neonate.

This was reported in an announcement by the Head, Press and Public Relations of NAPTIP, Mr Josiah Emerole, in Abuja on Sunday.

Emerole clarified that the speculated trafficker sold the new conceived infant to a lady whom he guaranteed to make pregnant through deep sense of being.

He said that Emmanuel, who hailed from Enugu State, possessed Akuchi Herbal Concept at New Nyanya, Abuja.

He was captured following quite a while of reconnaissance by officers of the office and those of the Department of State administrations.

As indicated by him, Emanuel has been beforehand captured by the Nigeria Police, when a lady was gotten with a child in Abuja enroute Minna.
