President Buhari Finally Writes Senate Over Herdsmen Killings In Benue State (See Details)


President Muhammadu Buhari says it isn't valid that he has done nothing to determine the emergency between Fulani herders and ranchers in Benue State.

This is contained in Buhari's letter to the Senate.

Senate President, Bukola Saraki read it to his collegeaues on Wednesday.

The President was cited as saying the police, on his order, is working "strenuously" to catch those behind the killings in Benue State.

The letter reads,"I thank you for your letter referenced NASS/8S/R/01/33 dated eighteenth January 2018 and painstakingly considered the resolutions and remarks there in. As I advised you and the RT. Hon speaker when we met, a few strategies have been taken preceding the senate determination.
