No surgery for Neymar: Coach Emery

Neymar still has a "little possibility" of playing against Real Madrid in the Champions League and there are no plans for a task on his split bone, Paris Saint-Germain mentor Unai Emery said on Tuesday.

"For Neymar there has been no choice to have an activity," said Emery, denying a prior report in the Brazilian press that the world's most costly player would go under the blade to settle the split bone in his foot.

"Neymar is the first to need to play each match, he's extremely focussed on Real. I believe there's a little shot that he'll be prepared for the match," included Emery.

PSG trail 3-1 from the last 16 first leg in Madrid two weeks back and the loss of Neymar would be a colossal hit to their odds of toppling that shortage at the Parc des Princes on March 6 and achieving the Champions League quarter-finals.
