NDLEA seizes 404.9kg pot in FCT

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has recorded a noteworthy leap forward in its contend against energetically sedates after it blocked 404.9 kg of cannabis sativa, prominently known as maryjane, in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Representative of the FCT Command of the organization, Mr Peter Adegbe, uncovered this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Friday.

Adegbe likewise said seven suspects were captured regarding the stash which, as indicated by him, was seized between Feb. 11 and 15.

He clarified that 127.9 kg of the stash was blocked in Abuja, while 173kg and another 104kg was seized in two separate occurrences at Abaji on its way to the country's capital.

The NDLEA representative said the suspects had been charged to court, including that the organization is resolved to make the FCT a no-go territory for tranquilize sellers.

"These dealers of death are encouraged to surrender the business or keep on experiencing misfortunes and a date with imprison," he said.
